About Me
Dr. Jennifer McGough received a BA in Biology from Amherst College, Massachusetts, in 1997 and a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Friendship Hospital for Animals, Washington DC, in 2003 and has been practicing emergency medicine ever since. She joined MES in 2008 and her professional focus is emergency and critical care medicine with a particular interest in trauma medicine and wound repair and management. Her first pet was a Golden Retriever named Duncan who will always be the best dog ever in her eyes. Jen met her husband, Paul, in vet school; he is also a veterinarian. They currently reside in Chester County with their son, Charlie, and their many rescued pets! She loves to spend her free time with her son, as well as reading, watching movies and TV, walking, cooking and baking.
