About Me

Dr. Cierra French grew up outside of Baltimore, Maryland and attended Towson University. After earning dual Bachelor’s degrees in biology and chemistry, she attended the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school, Dr. French worked as a laboratory technologist, and volunteered with the Humane Society providing wellness and preventative care on Native American reservations in Arizona. During her final year of study, Dr. French received a scholarship to study acupuncture at the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. French graduated from veterinary school in the top third of her class, and completed an internship in small animal medicine/surgery. She also completed advanced training in small animal acupuncture and is a certified veterinary acupuncturist. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, endocrinology, neurology, and integrative medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, arts/crafts, learning new languages, and traveling. She and her husband have three dogs (a Rottweiler, Pitbull, and French Bulldog), a cat, and a chinchilla.
