About Me

Dr. Kathleen Crossman was born and raised in Unionville, Pennsylvania. She obtained dual Bachelor’s degrees in biology and chemistry from Immaculata University in Malvern, Pennsylvania. She then went on to study at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada where she graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. During her clinical year she received the Brian L Hill Memorial Award granted to the student who excels in small animal medicine and surgery and who also exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both colleagues and clients. She spent a year working in both general practice and emergency medicine prior to joining the MVA team in July 2019 as an emergency clinician. Her medical interests include triage/critical care medicine and trauma.

In her spare time Kathleen enjoys cycling, reading, spending time with her very large extended family and wandering the hills of beautiful Chester County with her black Labrador Lucy and dachshund Jax.
