About Me
Dr. Chase Schoelkopf grew up in Memphis, TN. He completed his bachelor’s degree at Dartmouth College prior to earning his veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019. Dr. Chase then completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Angell Animal Medical Center (Boston, MA), followed by a surgical internship at Veterinary Specialty Hospital (San Diego, CA). Dr. Chase returned to the east coast, completing his surgery residency at MVA. After a period working in Connecticut, we are excited that Dr. Chase has rejoined the Metropolitan family!
His professional interests include a wide variety of surgeries, including arthroscopy, laparoscopy, ligament and tendon reconstruction, TPLO, and angular limb deformities. In his free time, Dr. Chase enjoys exploring the Philly music, sports, and dining scenes with his wife and their Goldendoodle rescue.
