Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital (HVSH) was founded in 1956 by William J. Brown, VMD. Three generations later, Grandson William J. Kay Jr., VMD and wife Tiffany Kay, VMD are still proudly serving the local community with excellent animal care.

We’ll coordinate with your family vet for the best care possible.
No appointments necessary – walk in anytime. Pets are seen on a triage system so emergency cases are treated first.
