What makes MVA a great place to work?
I love my job at MVA because of the constant new learning experiences and the variety from day to day. The quality of care we give to our patients is amazing and there is always someone willing to lend a helping hand. The best part of MVA is that we get to work with the best patients in the world!
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at MVA saving lives?
When I am not working, I like to spend time with my family. We like hiking and exploring new places, camping, skiing, and we have been recently spending time on an Alpaca farm volunteering.
What is something that people might not know about you?
Something people probably don’t know about me is that I like to play tennis. My daughter just started playing tennis at school and I recently discovered I really liked it while helping her practice. Maybe I will take lessons in the future.
How many pets do you have?
We have a Yorkie mix, Oscar that we adopted about 5 years ago. He is my shadow and when I am not at work, he is always with me. He loves adventure too!

What makes MVA a great place to work?
MVA is great because of the people. Everyone cares SO MUCH about their job and the patients.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at MVA saving lives?
I enjoy horseback riding, cooking, and doing wine tastings; but most of the time you can find me snuggled up with my dog reading a book.
What is something that people might not know about you?
I’m a total mac and cheese connoisseur – it’s my absolutely favorite thing to make. I like to use fancy cheeses and experiment with different toppings and ingredients. But that doesn’t mean I won’t eat the stuff out of the box. Nothing tops a box of the blues (kraft) when I’m having a tough day. And I will totally eat the whole box guilt free.
How many pets do you have?
Two – a six year old female pittie (Doobie) and a ten year old male orange long hair cat (Oliver).

My coworkers! Everyone has been very welcoming since I started and always willing to help if needed. Great group of people to work with and learn from, who truly care about their patients.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at MVA saving lives?
I enjoy being outdoors (hiking, kayaking, biking), baking, yoga, trying out new breweries/beers, and spending as much time as I can with family and friends.
What is something that people might not know about you?
I come off as a very quiet and shy person, but I definitely have a voice and love adventures/new things! Just takes me a little to warm up.
