About Me
Veterinary Oncologist, Dr. Suzanne Rau, graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2002. She continued her education at the University of Illinois and was awarded her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2006. After graduation she completed a one year rotating internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. Following her internship she completed her residency at Tufts University.
During her residency, she was awarded the 2008 Oncology Resident Grant sponsored by Pfizer Animal Health to evaluate the efficacy of CereniaTM in preventing vomiting in chemotherapy patients. Dr. Rau became board certified with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology) in 2010. Over the next two years, Dr. Rau served as the medical oncologist at a private practice in Greensboro, NC prior to moving to Pennsylvania.
Dr. Rau’s areas of special interest include lymphoma and prevention of chemotherapy induced gastrointestinal side effects.
