About Me
Dr. Shana Hodosh is an associate veterinarian at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates and part of our rotating small animal medicine and surgery intern class of 2026 – 2027. She grew up in the suburbs of New York City, where she eventually moved to attend Hunter College. She graduated with a major in Biology and a minor in English in 2018. Dr. Hodosh worked at a general practice hospital as an assistant and technician for several years before moving to Grenada for vet school.
Dr. Hodosh received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University in 2026. During veterinary school, she discovered her passion for small animal internal medicine. She looks forward to seeing a large variety of medicine cases during her internship year, as well as further exploring her interest in emergency & critical care. Her goal is to continue onto an internal medicine residency.
When not at the hospital, Dr. Hodosh enjoys reading (especially horror and thrillers), playing video games, and challenging herself with tricky crossword puzzles. She currently lives with the four loves of her life: her boyfriend and three cats.
