About Me
Dr. Mackintosh grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. She received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of Victoria, then went on to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in 2021. After graduation, she completed a small animal rotating internship, followed by a surgical internship at a large emergency and referral private practice in Calgary, Alberta. Dr. Mackintosh was excited to make the big move to the east coast to join MVA as a surgery resident in July 2023.
Dr. Mackintosh’s professional interests include orthopedic procedures, skin grafting and reconstruction, and neurosurgery. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, Yoga/Pilates, fashion, and spending time with her two cats (Rosemary and Georgia).
