About Me
Dr. Slade was born and raised in New York City and attended Skidmore College for undergrad. She then worked as a research technician at CHOP for two years before attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2015. Internship brought her back to the Big Apple at the Veterinary Emergency and Referral Group in Brooklyn, and she has been an emergency clinician since. Her love of the area and horses brought her back to the Delaware Valley and she is thrilled to be a part of the team at Metropolitan.
Dr. Slade’s professional interests include toxicities, wound repair, and ultrasound. When she’s not working, Dr. Slade spends time with her dogs and her horses.
