
About Me
Dr. Jocosa Yasenchack grew up mostly in Phoenix, AZ and later in Fort Worth, Texas. She received her Bachelors of Science from Fort Lewis College in Durango Colorado and went on to receive her certification of Natural Scientific Illustration from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. She received her veterinary degree from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 2022. She then completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at the University of Minnesota in St. Paul (2022-2023), Minnesota. She then returned to the Ohio State University for a Clinical Surgical Oncology Specialty Internship and a Surgical Oncology Research Internship (2023-2025).
Continuing her tour of the various regions of the US, Dr. Yasenchack is excited to join the MVA team on the East Coast as a surgery resident in July 2025. Dr. Yasenchack’s professional interests include Surgical Oncology, fracture reconstruction, advanced maxillofacial procedures, and vertebral neurosurgery.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Yasenchack enjoys exploring new places from wandering in the outdoors with her Norwegian Elkhound, Mika, to perusing local bakeries, markets, and coffee shops. She also loves spending time at home trying new recipes and relaxing with her two cats (Chibi and Juniper).
