About Me
Dr. Chrissy Fischer, a New Jersey native, attended the University of Connecticut where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 2013, with a minor in Italian Studies. She then attended veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania in nearby Philadelphia. In 2018, Dr. Fischer completed a rotating internship at the Center for Animal Referral & Emergency Services in Langhorne, PA. She was then accepted as an Emergency & Critical Care resident at the University of Pennsylvania, Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital which she completed in July of 2021 before joining MVA. She achieved diplomate status that same year. Dr. Fischer’s clinical interests include polytrauma, respiratory diseases, and electrolyte abnormalities.
In her spare time, Dr. Fischer enjoys all things Peloton. She lives in Bucks county with her husband, daughter & their dogs: Sparky, Sienna, & Mulligan.
