About Me
Dr. Amanda Storer is originally from Markham, Ontario, Canada. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Guelph in 2014. After completing her undergraduate degree, Dr. Storer took some time off from school and worked at the Toronto.
Veterinary Emergency Hospital (TVEH) as an emergency department animal care attendant. It was through her experience at TVEH where she reaffirmed her passion for nurturing and promoting the animal-human bond.
In February 2016, Dr. Storer moved to Sydney, Australia, to chase her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She graduated from the School of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney in March 2020. Dr. Storer completed a rotating internship at VCA Canada 404 Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital in Newmarket, Ontario, prior to moving to College Station, Texas, to complete an emergency and critical care residency at Texas A&M. Dr. Storer completed her residency in July 2024 and achieved diplomate status that same year. She is excited to be joining the team at MVA.
Dr. Storer’s clinical interests include sepsis, electrolyte abnormalities, toxicities, and polytrauma. In her spare time, Dr. Storer enjoys exploring the world around her, playing ice hockey, and getting together with friends and family.
