Our Cardiologist Dr. Roland and C.H.O.P.’s BUDDY WALK

Our Cardiologist Dr. Risa Roland will be participating in Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s annual BUDDY WALK October 5, 2014.   Location: Villanova University Stadium

More than 3,300 parents, grandparents and children from across the region come together in this carnival-like atmosphere to raise funds, promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) and to have a great time!

How Dr. Roland got involved:

I’m Risa, mother to Alexa and Isabella De Biasio (who are also Porter’s Peeps’ team members!).  Alexa is in Penny’s class!  Isabella is supposed to be in Porter’s class but Porter is developing and growing so amazingly well that Bella can’t catch him when he “moves up” to the next class!  

Alexa, Isabella and I were so grateful to have been part of Porter’s Peeps in 2013.  What a truly moving experience!  And so much FUN!!  We can’t wait to do it again!  We can’t think of a more amazing cause for such an amazing, loving and dedicated family!

We love Porter and all his Peeps!!!
