A week ago, my sweet Dunder Mifflin had emergency surgery for an obstruction. He will be 13 in June and the thought of a major surgery really scared me! I have been his momma since he was 6 weeks old when I saved him from death row in the south. I was not ready to lose my sweet boy! The staff at Metro were so wonderful with me by calming my fears and answering questions. Dunder was at the hospital for a little under 48 hours. I excitedly brought him home and by the next afternoon Dr. Crofts called to check in. We were in close communication because every little thing worried me and concerned me. He never once sounded exasperated or rushed me off the phone. He thoughtfully answered every question and agreed that he needed to be seen at the one-week mark. Dunder did have the start of an infection and again Dr. Crofts showed much care and even expressed how glad he was to see Dunder in a happier state because he received many kisses and tail wags during the exam. I am very happy with my Metro experience and thrilled to have my Dunder Mifflin with me still!!!
