About Me
Dr. Bethany Sacks is an associate veterinarian at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates and part of our rotating small animal medicine and surgery intern class of 2026-2027.
Dr. Sacks grew up in Rochester, NY. In 2020, she received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree from the University of Georgia with a major in Biological Sciences. Before attending veterinary school, she spent 2 years working in general practice, urgent care, and rehabilitation at local veterinary hospitals in Rochester, NY. She then moved to Philadelphia and started veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania where she completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2026. Dr. Sacks’ professional interests include internal medicine and emergency medicine.
Bethany enjoys staying active through walking her high energy dog, running, and yoga. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, baking, and rooting for the Buffalo Bills. She currently lives with her beloved husky mix, Koda.
