About Me

Dr. Briana Rhae is an associate veterinarian at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates and part of our rotating small animal medicine and surgery intern class of 2026-2027.

Dr. Rhae grew up in Pennsylvania and earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Temple University before going on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Long Island University. She is a participating member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.  Throughout her education, she worked at a local veterinary hospital, where she started as a kennel technician and grew through every position up to and including veterinarian. Participating in each role has given her a unique perspective on medicine and strengthened her passion for patient care as well as client relationships.  Her professional interests include small animal emergency medicine and gastrointestinal surgery.  She enjoys the challenges of developing medical plans to help each and every patient.

When she’s not at the hospital, Dr. Rhae enjoys spending time with her partner, daughter, and four dogs. At home, the youngest family member proudly runs the household—even keeping the Mastiffs in check. A lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, she can usually be found cheering on the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers. She also enjoys staying active, trying new sports, and recently caught the pickleball bug. If there’s a court nearby, there’s a good chance she’ll be looking for a game.
