About Me
Dr. Sarah Szivos is an associate veterinarian at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates and part of the rotating small animal medicine and surgery intern class of 2026-2027.
Dr. Szivos is from Harrisburg, PA. In 2020, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University, with a major in Media Studies and Production. During her undergraduate studies, she discovered her true passion for veterinary medicine and went on to attend St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine
in Grenada, West Indies and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2026. Prior to attending veterinary school, Dr. Szivos worked at an emergency and specialty hospital in Conshohocken, PA, and a general practice clinic in Roxborough, PA. Dr. Szivos also spent time interning at the Philadelphia Zoo and volunteering at many shelters in the Philadelphia area.
Dr. Szivos’ professional goal is to specialize in Internal Medicine and has a special interest in liver and immune-mediated diseases.
During her free time, Dr. Szivos enjoys reading, watching sports, and spending time with her family, friends, and her Grenadian Pothound, Mozzarella Stick.
