About Me
Dr. Lindsay Barson is an associate veterinarian at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates and part of our rotating small animal medicine and surgery intern class of 2025 – 2026. She grew up in Lower Merion, Pennsylvania. In 2019, she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience from Union College in Schenectady, New York. She also was a member of the Union College field hockey team. Dr. Barson spent two years as a surgical scrub assistant at Bluepearl Pet Hospital in Midtown, Manhattan prior to attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Dr. Barson graduated and received her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in the spring of 2025.
Dr. Barson’s professional interests include medical oncology and emergency medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new coffee shops, traveling, and being with her friends and family including her two aussiedoodles Moose and Camille!
