About Me
Dr. Christian Slough is an associate veterinarian at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates and part of our rotating small animal medicine and surgery intern class of 2025-2026. Originally from rural Georgia, he attended the University of Georgia, graduating with a B.S. in Animal Science and later obtained his degree in veterinary medicine from UGA’s veterinary program in 2024. After veterinary school Dr. Slough spent a year in private practice as a GP/urgent care veterinarian in Central Virginia.
Dr. Sloughs professional goals are to continue providing high quality care for cats and dogs and potentially pursue further education in Neurology or surgery.
He currently has 4 furry children. A King Charles Cavalier named Leon, a tabby cat named Smudge, and two horses named Hero and Gilly.
