I was incredibly nervous about putting my dog through TPLO surgery. It felt like such an extensive procedure, and we weren’t sure we wanted to go through with it. But after meeting with Dr. Wolf and Taylor, all our fears were put at ease. They took the time to explain every step of the process. From what to expect, how to support our pup through recovery, and what she’d need most from us, their patience and compassion meant everything.
The morning of surgery, the staff welcomed us with warmth and understanding. Knowing how anxious Rigby was, they even let us come in through a side door to help keep her calm. Taylor and the team spent time comforting her and reassuring us that she’d be well cared for.
When it was time to bring her home, Kelli greeted us with such kindness and empathy that it truly made us feel like we had left our dog in the best possible hands. From start to finish, Dr. Wolf, Taylor, and Kelli were absolutely phenomenal. Their bedside manner, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals made all the difference.
I hope I never need to return to Metropolitan Vet for a medical emergency. But if I do, I know without a doubt that Rigby will be in exceptional hands.
