About Me

Dr. Natalie Kovak, a Chicago native, attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2011. She then attended the veterinary school, also at the University of Wisconsin, graduating in 2017. She completed a rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital located in Denver, Colorado. Following this, she was accepted as an Emergency & Critical Care resident at the University of Pennsylvania, Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital which she completed in July of 2021 before joining MVA. Dr. Kovak’s interests include respiratory diseases, sepsis, and managing electrolyte derangements.

In her spare time, Dr. Kovak enjoys spending time with family and friends, anything outdoors involving nature, and watching drama tv shows. She and her partner live in Philadelphia with their cat Oscar and two dogs Cory and Dublin.
