Dr. Marc Kraus is Attending Cardiologist and Outpatient Medical Director at Penn Vet’s Ryan Hospital and also joined Metropolitan’s Cardiology Team as of January, 2017.
His clinical specialties and areas of research include companion animal cardiology, cardiac biomarkers, heart failure management, and antiarrhythmic therapies.
Before joining Penn Vet, Dr. Kraus served as faculty at the University of Liverpool in the UK and Cornell University.
Dr. Kraus received his veterinary degree from the University of Georgia after completing a rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City, followed by an internal medicine residency at the University of Georgia and a cardiology residency at Cornell University. He earned his BS in Biology from the University of Georgia.
